Perfectionism...Is it good or bad?

Sometimes perfectionism is actually quite difficult to identify within yourself?  Perfectionism can often be a byproduct of your anxiety ie when things are not right, it makes you feel on edge or anxious, and then you may obsess over it and try to fix it until it is "perfect".  When it is right, your anxiety subsides.

So perfectionism can be very good but at the same time, if you cannot manage it properly, it can be very destructive.

One good indicator for perfectionism is that, if you cannot do something properly, you prefer to not do it at all.

Take some time to reflect on this....
